bg will be like our designer will be at spiel demoing our prototype and it'll be like laser printed cutouts and they'll happily let anyone take video lol. vg are waaaaay more secretive. i blame the megacorps.

There are several hotels right next to the NEC (venue) but they fill up quickly. I'd recommend looking for stuff next to New Street train station in Birmingham, then it's a quick train ride to the airport which is attached to the event venue.
It's really convenient that the airport is attached to the venue but might be a lot easier to fly to London and then get a train to Birmingham which is what I usually do. It's about a 2.5 train ride through the English countryside which is pretty neat
