In my defense, I was going to do it under the guidance of an ex-army electrical engineer whose staying with me, so it wouldn't have been entirely DIY

The main issue was that my electrical panel didn't have any space for a dual-pole breaker, and I am NOT going to install a larger panel

I had to make room in mine by collapsing some into the single slots like the 20A breaker on the right. It's how I made room for the 50A 220V on the left. It's still freaky working in the box!

lol yea there’s a lot of stuff I feel like I have the theoretical knowledge to do myself but it ends pretty firmly upstream of my breaker box.
