Honestly, while this explains a lot, it might be one of the more disturbing things I've seen related to this U.S.-brand of "Christianity". 😳

This line of thinking has been cultivated for years in Desiring God and Gospel Coalition circles. They have been waiting for the chance to go public with the noxious and unchristian concept of "the sin of empathy." Predictable they use it to discredit a woman's ministry too.
