Since it’s that time of year, I’ve been trying all the mince pies. I’ve have 4 from different place so far and here are my thoughts and ratings out of 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄.

Cheapest at Waitrose and still more expensive than posh mince pies anywhere else.
Based on taste alone, really good. Buttery crust and really good filling.

I’ve just eaten one of these and I’ve gone from disappointed to actually angry that they exist. Entirely the wrong vessel for a mince pie. Whoever thought this was a good idea has ended up on Santas list. Not the naughty list. The one given to a hitman.
