Of course it is. Trump wants to scrub his hands of his whole Covid incompetence. Long Covid sufferers are reminders of that. We are probably all going to end up in one of RFK jr’s concentration camps, oops I’m sorry “wellness camps.”

There are multiple potential reasons for the removal of the Office:

1) It was a project of the Biden administration. While there are multiple efforts underway to dismantle ongoing scientific endeavors, this is being applied with particular zeal to projects that began in the last four years. 🧵

2) There have been communications regarding particular aggression towards projects anything the public might find ‘frivolous’ and “anything related to COVID” was listed as one example. 🧪🧵

Very true. The other reason, of course, is that he simply hates anyone who knows more than he does and always has. Unfortunately, that includes the entire planet. But particularly scientists. They make him feel small.
