As I watched a sporting event on TV recently I thought about some of my favorite athletes that I rooted for in my life time.

As a young boy my favorite baseball player was Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle. I got a chance to “the Mick”see play against the Red Sox’s in Fenway Park.
