I was going to say "I don't know how an AI could make that mistake", but if they're feeding it the Japanese audio track, and not the Japanese script... Oof.
Are you talking about the closed captions for the dub or the actual subs? because why would they replace the subs on a show that's been out fully for years and in turn already has subs?
Gotcha, because I had heard it's was the closed captions that they were experimenting with, it's of course deeply unacceptable either way I just wanted to clear up any confusion given the situation.
It isn't doing One Piece, Naruto or Dragon Ball numbers, therefore it falls automatically in niche category unfortunately. It remains uncontested PEAK however
I mean... a lot of the time with AI stuff it's a question as to whether or not having a human check through all the mistakes the AI has made and fixing them would be any faster than just having the human make the thing in the first place, and the answer is usually not yes.
