Omg absolutely! I technically grew up in Crete (ew) but I spent pretty much every weekend in the city, and I've lived in the city since 2019! Never leaving.
I'm not in Chicago or even the US but I fully support this cause. If after reading some horror books you don't come away thinking that the author is seriously warped and possibly needs medical intervention you haven't lived. Your goal to share this realisation with others is a noble one.
Ha you can just ask! They're not all books though, my entree into weird horror has been mostly shorts. But...
