It is pretty interesting to look at the kind of information people in the fandom (and everywhere else, really) used to be comfortable with putting out there for everybody else to see.

What I find SUPER WILD about early Furry Fanzines is how the fanzine contributors would ACTUALLY LIST THEIR REAL LIFE ADDRESSES at the bottom of their contributions!
Something NOBODY in their sane mind would even consider doing nowadays because of doxxing!

Everything was mail based. Companies, and yes, single proprietors did business via US Mail.
