Whoever is in charge of that is making a big mistake.

I spend so much less on the years with only a few weeks in between.

3 weeks and 6 days between the actual holidays of TG and Xmas however; only 3 weeks between the end of TG weekend and the beginning of Christmas week. At my job it is like everyone came back from TG and realized that oh crud we only have 3 wks left before EOY vacations. It has been brutal

It should be the Thanksgiving Season that lasts for two weeks. Then a lull for a two-week Christmas season.
