Agree. Legalising sex work does not stop trafficking. While I support Sex work and agree they need better protections and laws, Sex work is perfectly legal in many countries where trafficking still happens.
Because it's not about the legality of swapping money... it's the Age of the victim.
Agree. Seeking a Sex workers services is not in itself criminal.
It's exploitation of young, and under-age children by Adults. Both Men and Women have historically trafficked people into sex work through threats of Violence and Munipulation.
Decriminalization is not legalization. Additionally, it has been proven to create a safer environment, and improve the health and human rights. More rights = less exploitation for adult sex workers and youth in the sex trade.
OK - But my point wasn't about the adult sex market. There will ALWAYS be a market for kids. I'm sure you have more info than I do (although I have a bit of personal experience in this regard) but I do know they don't all walk the streets.
If the adults sex works arnt worried about being sent to jail they speak up and help the government find the creeps and help save the victims. By decriminalizing it is much much harder for abuse of minors cause people are more likely to report. Your right there will always be a market for kids
But this way we have more allies and more ways to find information. As well it make it easier to find the pedos as their the one trying to hide if the adults don’t have to
