Have you considered the usefulness of an APPG for post infection disease per se? Asking because ME APPG has got nowhere in decades, despite a lot of political support (how could there not be). The medical establishment push back with standard divide and rule tactics.
Unity is strength, etc.

It's a step in the right direction *but* be wary of how this could go. I went to APPGs on #mecfs for 4 years (nearly two decades ago) and they achieved nothing other than the incumbent govt treating this as a DWP problem.

There has to be:
1) numbers (attendees pro-issue)
2) strength in character

There is a high probability that you will be 'fobbed off'. You have to make yourself a force. There may be another attempt by the govt to send DWP ministers to your APPGs instead of DHSC equivalents.

I would very much urge you to learn from the experience of those attending the #myalgicencephalomyelitis APPGs.

APPGs are, ultimately, powerless. Don't be overwhelmed just because you're in the Houses of Parliament.
