I am a v articulate person & can explain my own symptoms. But doctors still treat me like an inconvenience, not a human. Please explain to me why drawing a damn picture is going to change that dynamic.

We appreciate this may not be for everyone but some people, including some children, find it very difficult to give an articulate description of the symptoms they are experiencing, and this is a great method of enabling them to explain what they are going through.

Yes I’m sure it’s great for kids and others. But communication is a two way process; the other party has to be engaged. If the doctor will only believe me if I draw a picture, they’re infantilising me.
