From what I have seen from other fans it seems they (specially those in red) seem quite happy to play with unlawful practices and City are wrong to point it out they are unlawful, no surprise there
right?!?! that i think is my favorite part, is that City calling out a PL rule for being legit unlawful by the UK government's (capital A) Actual laws, its somehow a bad thing 👩⚖️
Amy I dont know if it comes across over to USA they way the 3 red clubs (and Spurs) actually run things, Utd & Liverpool help choose the PL Chairman, Masters was 4th choice until those 2 clubs had their say , this meeting from a few yrs ago each has travelled 000s of miles for it sums it up
for those of us who are chronically online/ex-twitter are much closer to this side of the game—but no in the US none of this means anything to anybody & none of the sports networks (general or football specific) talk about this stuff. the commentators do get their jabs in & don’t educate (shocker!)
Its not a chance meeting is it, Glazers from Florida, FSG from Boston , Arsenal from London any or all wouldve have to travel thousands of miles to meet
there are 56 ex Liverpool players in the media (written and TV/Radio) in the UK then add those who work for Irish media plus those on US TV it does show how the media can end up biased
that is truly an outrageous number! over here it’s deffo very red, we only have richard’s who is suss as best. so silly considering we consistently break our own TV viewing numbers as most streamed/watched team and/or games 🤡🤡
