I've always thought extremely-visible Replika musculature was kind of goofy and a lot of work, but if I was the kind of person who drew it in detail, I'd interpret it this way...

But it also make sense to not detail any musculature for Replikas with their plastic shells. There's a decent chance it would hide the shape of their synth-flesh beneath.
