Trade war with Canada, yeehaw. Bulk of our exports to the US is oil, and he only is lightly adding an import tax to that so this is basically a charade. The US will still purchase the exact same volume of Canadian oil, so he's adding a tax to US consumers who don't have a competitive alternative
