another thing that bothers me is that its precision decreases as you start using less common frameworks or languages. e.g. it works quite well for react, but not so well at all for svelte 5.

putting all this aside, to me ai is a great help. Im a newbie in coding, and it has been incredibly helpful in explaining various concepts and guiding me through my learning journey.

Do you use any in-editor AI suggestions? I've steered clear of those so far and only consulted chat assistants to brainstorm ideas or ask about rewrites - similar for you I take it?

i keep it external too. it’s hard to keep track of what i’m doing when it’s constantly present.

Yeah to me it just feels like an unwelcome interruption. I usually have a plan of action already, and copilot interjecting does nothing except take time for me to parse and reject it. Or at least that's how it felt last time I tried it.
