I think that the real privilege doesn't exclusively lie with those to criticize poor books and questionable quality, but those who insist on prioritizing comfort over growth.
Marginalized communities do not have the luxury to choose to escape through shallow, vapid books. Yes, reading can be comforting and entertaining,
