No, I didn’t. I was on a different product team at Acclaim than the one that worked on NBA Jam, so I personally didn’t know anybody at Midway. I did look him up and see he’s lead on 7DTD at Fun Pimps now, which is one of my favorite games of all time. 🥳

Looks like you use Unity. There is a feature with the camera in cinemachine called target group camera and you could use the ball as one of the targets which would keep the ball in the shot. Game looks cool.

That's good. Looked like it went out of the scene on long shots and thought it might be possible to keep it in frame after releasing the ball by zooming or changing the field of view, maybe it's just the way the video looks. But just an option if necessary maybe easier than coding it yourself.
