Voisit mennä mun sijasta. Ei ihan hirveästi innosta toi reissu... Täysin älytöntä rahan yms. tuhlausta, äänestykset voitaisiin hoitaa etänä, ihan samoin kuin jaaritusten kuuntelutkin. Samalla palaa multa rahat tehdä jotain oikeasti tarpeellista, esim. mennä ihmettelemään kiviä metsään.

Mä olen mennyt metsään ihmettelemään kiviä kerran jos toisenkin (veronmaksajien kustannuksella) enkä ole siitä viisastunut niin paljon, että se ois ollu vaivan ja rahan arvoista. Kävin marraskuussa Pariisissa pääkohteissa, nyt vois mennä oopperaan yms.

Ehkei niistä kivistä juuri viisastu, mutta kyllä niiden perässä metsässä kulkeminen paaaljon kivempaa on kuin Pariisiin meno. Oopperan suhteen olen Seppo Rädyn linjoilla.

How about the catacombs? It seems the last tour starts at 19:15. There’s talk of the geology on their website but I’m not sure whether it features in any way on the tour. (I only visited Paris briefly once, went to see the Notre Dame. It’s open again, btw.)

Catacombs apparently require online booking 7 days in advance, and as the only potentially possible evening for that is Tuesday, it's too late now. Ridiculously expensive too. Walking around Notre Dame might be an option, although I'd much rather avoid the huge masses of other tourists...

The old Observatory. Paris meridian is marked on the floor of the meridian hall.
And at the top of Eiffel tower at sunset. Magnificent view. And after that a glass of wine in a small restaurant by Seine where you have a direct view to the lights of Eiffel.

The observatory would definitely be my kind of place, but unfortunately it seems to be closed by the time I'd get there. But a stroll around the observatory gardens and seeing the meridian there would probably work. Thanks!
