Etsy also desperately needs a convenient way to blacklist ever seeing a shop again, so at minimum it’d be easy to manually block out some of the deluge of ai slop. 😔

I feel this. There are many times that I click on an Amazon ad because I can't tell wtf the product even is based on the picture.

Then, because I clicked it, the algorithm goes into overdrive and shows me 50 more weird things.

Please, I don't need a rubber gasket for a coffee maker made in 1992.

i remember before i kinda realised ai stuff was everywhere i saw some really cool looking DND character portraits on etsy and i dm'd the person asking to see their social medias because i loved their work so much but they were actually using AI 😭😭 they made $$$$$$$$$$ too.
