Backward compatibility of Switch 2 will help on the long run, sure

You're probably refering to the occasional frame drops here and there but it's definitely not the reason it's not selling as much as BOTW did: being a sequel releasing towards the end of life of a hardware does that

Nah I'm referring to how many Zeldatubers whose careers launched with BotW speculation complained that TotK didn't cure cancer or wasn't TP 3.0. Many of their gripes seemed indicative that they didn't play the game for what it is, and instead lamented that it wasn't what they wanted

Personally nobody attacked me when I was playing it and publicly praising it, maybe because I'm not on YouTube and don't watch YouTubers. Also saw many who also prefer it to BOTW 😇

That's good! Honestly I feel like BotW kicked off a new era for Zelda and I anticipate everything new they will bring, especially given it's the season for a hardware upgrade
