i see how one wing could get ripped off, say, after a collision, but i'm struggling a bit here... how could the wings and undercarriage simply separate from the fuselage?
I could hazard a guess that upon landing badly on a snow bank , or blown sideways , thereby smashing the wing so badly that it snapped ...thereby flipping the plane over and losing the undercarriage and the wing. Lucky to have survived I'd say.
