So there's a purpose for this, and it kinda sucks. I forget the EXACT reason, but it's a way to get readers to understand what the book is about while they browse the stories by title.
Ikr? Sometimes it can completely ruin a anime with it's title, like that anime about going over grief being changed to something like "my wife is a middle schooler"
Found it, the anime I'm talking about has the English name "If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student" and people immediately assumed it was a pedophilic series from that

Light novel titles get like that because you’re surrounded by dozens of other books where all you can see is the spine. So they get stuck with picking titles that are plot summaries.
