House Republicans aren’t quite falling into line behind their leadership’s plans to advance Donald Trump’s sweeping legislative agenda, which is set to be presented to the committee Thursday.

Failing to unite the party behind it may be one of their idiot "strategies", so they can run around yelling that the Dems are at fault for a shutdown because none of them voted for it at all. Totally broken argument, but the Zombie Fourth Estate will help them sell it by "tsk tsk"ing at Dems.
A White House official said a handful of House members are asking Trump to bless Medicaid cuts as a way to help pay for reconciliation, but lawmakers wouldn’t actually lay out what the Medicaid cuts would be.

Probably the same ones that wanted to destroy the Biden Clean energy bill EXCEPT those those in the MW wanting to keep the part that benefits them ( for those of us that paid attention to their debt ceiling proposal under McCarthy…🤔
Adding 4 trillion dollars to US National debt in order to give billionaires a 4 trillion dollar tax cut...The Republican Party Year 2025...Party for the "Blue Collar Working Man"...lol...
For a bunch of lawmakers who yelled against the debt ceiling; these Republican lawmakers now don't care. They don't care about the economy, decency, or the Constitution. Only Trump.
Elections do matter.
I would celebrate this development, except it is likely that those objecting merely demand more maniacal measures than have been presented by the leadship (I suppose we should begin capitalising that word, Leadership, in proper deference to the complete authority and magnificence of the Leader).
I think the fascinating thing, is that although the plan was just to fill congress with robotic yes-men to Trump, a few of these elected maga reps are taking their roles more seriously than asked. I didn't expect that. I see Trump and Johnson didn't expect that either. 😂
You can't avoid it. Theres always someone in a bunch, who just cant bring themselves to break a rule 😂. Its probably a product of nature to have at least one.
