I spent most of 2024, exploring MX, and Central America for somewhere else to live, just in case it got [re]elected and decided on.... Panama... I have reconsidered that, and am now looking for someplace a little further away.

Many reps do not know how many millions live abroad.
Nearly a century ago, Germany drove out its best scientists for racist reasons. Many came to the US, helped us win World War II, and jump-started US dominance in the sciences. Now, Trump is driving scientists out for similarly stupid reasons. Ironically, many are now going to Germany.
Unfortunately that's not true. I'm a software engineer and my husband is a doctor (we're both 51) and it is basically impossible for us to get permission from Canada.
My husband and I are definitely thinking about getting out. As a gay man, I do not intend on spending my few remaining years under a Fascist dictator and his insane horde.
