me acquiring deep deep cut hidden gems, English translation games, and the best rom hacks of all time for a host of niche consoles, after hours of researching, only to then never play any of them, except for about 30 min each for two of em.
Don't forget making your own custom screenshots images, and adding your own metadata, and logo files, and box art. Because you need to have a clean frontend without missing info on some of the roms, right?
Oh 100%! I personally remove all of the region symbols for my files too. So if it's like "Super Mario Bros 2 (U).nes" I always remove the U. There are SO many little steps involved to get it just right haha
Servus from Austria!
yep, the collecting instinct is a beast. But personel i would say for me only i would need not more then 150. But yes the adventuring in browsing new games in a 11.000 games collection is also a great fun. And,... there it begins.😂 I hope there comes a better automatic scraper
That's me whenever I find a new romhack or translation patch to apply to a game, the upload it to my back up drive, then copying that to every handheld I own so they all have the exact same library.

My ROM sets live on my NAS so it's no problem to copy them over as long as the device has wifi
