So #arcane fumbled at the finish line. Does it make narrative sense for Warwick to come back as a threat so the main character can die, but every other being that was controlled by Viktor is shut down. Who made that decision? Where is the logic?

Warwick can regen at a rate that basically stops him from dying. That's why Singed wanted him back, and how Viktor survived, so even without Viktor's hivemind he's able to come back to life.
Lets also remember Viktor's conversation with Singed. The experiment was supposed to kill Warwick. They tell us that explicitly in episode 6. Only to throw it away. I don't know about others, but I lock onto narrative mistakes like that. And that is what it is, a mistake in the narrative.
If he would have returned to the state he was in when Isha sacrifices herself then I wouldn't have this issue. Instead he is completely part of a hive mind that is destroyed. No other being in that hive mind survives its destruction.
His body has been fundamentally changed by Viktor. He has a healing factor to keep him alive which wouldn't explain a regression back to pre-transformation warwick. He's not still apart of the hivemind just physically altered, acting only on animal instinct, as Singed explained the serum would do.
He also does not regress to the state he was in when Isha sacrificed herself. He is neither beast like or like a man. All you get is cold ruthless efficiency. So where is the beast? Where is the regression to pre-transformation? That only happened in your head. It sure didn't happen on screen.
You are making things up to get to your conclusion. Episode 6 is right there. Maybe go rewatch that conversation. We Lear about the experiment before it is done. The price is Warwick's life. There are no holes to poke through there. Either he is a part of the hive mind or he is not. Its a plot hole.
No, my thoughts are clear. Viktor and Singed have a conversation about the experiment that Singed eventually does. It was made clear to us that this would cost Warwick his life. So why Warwick running around in episode 9? He is fully part of the hive mind but survives its end. Alone?
