Indigenous people weren’t conquered by colonizers, they were poisoned with their filthy diseases. Measles, mumps, chickenpox, smallpox, diphtheria, influenza, pneumonia, typhoid, malaria, yellow fever, bubonic plague, cholera, pertussis and the common cold killed off up to 90% of the natives.
