1/ January 20, 2025 is MLK Day. Sure there's another event that's going to suck the oxygen out of the country but for that day let's focus on celebrating the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. There's a lot celebrate with King's legacy this January 20.

Trump and MAGA will complain about "Why is MLK Day on the same day as Inauguration?" "Why do they always worship felons and criminals?" Just like they said about Juneteenth being in the same day as Father's Day 2 years ago.
I will be in DC, I thought for a Harris inauguration. Sure not going to Traitor Trumps. Is there anything in DC that day in honor of MLK that I can attend?
Celebrate MLK jr by wearing black and protesting the tangerine wankmaggot and his incoming authoritarian destroy everything administration. Channel the energy of the South Korea, Georgia, and Ukraine and remember that our democracy and the Constitution needs protecting and worth fighting for!
1/20 belongs to the iconic leader, our beloved MLK.

2/ First King was born January 15, 1929 so we'll be celebrating Dr. King's 95th birthday. This will also mark the 60th anniversary of King becoming the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
3/ It was also the 60th anniversary of the speech King made in St. Louis where said, “We must learn to live together as brothers or we will perish together as fools” It included the words, "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal" epitomize the American Dream.
5/ So Blue Sky Democrats, liberals, progressives and lovers of democracy instead of focusing on the dark that's going on in Washington D.C. on January 20, 2025 let's focus on the Light the Dr. King brought to the world and focus on his dream.
6/ Do a service project in honor of Dr. King and if you're on social media on Jan. 20 concentrate your posts on honoring King's legacy and posting his quotes throughout the day. Let's concentrate on the Light! #CelebrateMLKDay #MLKDay2025 #IHaveADream
That's a good idea. I wasn't going to waste any time on the other thing that'll suck, but it's better to have a positive goal in mind than to just avoid gawking at the awful thing.
