Nah. European countries are very diverse, and so are its domestic politics. Sure, one can always point out Hungary, but otherwise I'd say that most countries in Europe has a more sane political climate than the US. In the Scandinavian countries one might even call politics boringly well-behaved.
This used to be the case, but 2008 crisis and its aftermath destroyed that here as well. Slower, still it's happening. Hungary, Poland 2016-2023, Germany, Italy, Spain - the post-truth populists are getting strong here as well.
