Fell asleep after work, woke up after 4am. Switch 2 already sold out everywhere. What happened to all the angry people not buying one on principle and all that stuff lol

I mean, there are enough people in the world for there to be a big angry crowd on the internet while there also being a separate group big enough to buy every pre-order. Nintendo fans aren't a monolith.
Had my tax return money all saved up and ready to go, but I guess I'll be waiting until June when the physical store traversing hunt for the thing begins which will probably be more annoying than online.
Just said screw it and moved the money I was gonna preorder it with to my savings account and I'll sit on that money until June, I already know I just flat-out missed the boat at this point lol.
