“You’re building an echo chamber” really works as a way to force you to put up with bullshit you wouldn’t put up with on the street or in a pub or in your home.

I stopped going to the pub with my mates, because I knew that I had to listen to racist Tony talk about muslamic ray guns, otherwise I would just be reinforcing my echo chamber.
Oh look here comes kemi badenoch and she’s got leaflets, a mad glint in her eye and the conviction of. Preacher. Should I pretend I didn’t see her or should I stop and listen to whatever she says so no one can accuse me of being in an echo chamber. You know what? I think I’ll keep walk away.
I’m not a journalist, I’m not a citizen reporter, I’m not a man who people are constantly asking “but what should we do?” I’m just some little guy who likes to draw comics and hear from his chums sometimes. Does that mean I never hear outside voices? Of course not.
The entire scope of my existence isn’t contained in social media. In fact social media is frequently a place for me to escape from the noise of everything else.
