Great questions. Butter and oil 1/4 cup each. 1 egg. No honey. 20-25 minutes at 350. Deep round cast iron skillet. Scratch of course. Medium grind regular ole meal.

It could be a variety of things, depending on your recipe. Do you use butter or oil? How many eggs? Any honey? How long do you bake it, and how deep is it in the pan? Are you baking from scratch, or using a mix? If from scratch, what is the grind of your cornmeal — fine, medium or coarse?
