Might be an unpopular opinion, but I've always despised the invasion mechanic in Souls games. Especially when replaying an older game like Dark Souls 3 which is nearly a decade old, and getting constantly invaded.
Not to mention PvP in Souls games always felt clunky and cheesy in the first place.

I believe these games are worse off for needing to account for their PVP in the first place.
10/10 recommend NOT doing that
In bloodborne and elden ring you only get invaded if you are doing coop.
Its pretty easy to avoid.
you almost never get an invader that doesnt use the most optimal strat ever and netcode in these games are so ass its not even fun when you are lucky enough to get a decent invader
Tho now on PC we do have the Seamless Co-op Mod.
GET HIM!
I remember being permanently hollow in DS1 just to avoid this!
Pvp invasions there's alot of twinks and cheaters that ruin the exp
And I just feel like the Souls combat isn't meant for PvP combat. It feels very tacked on.
But yeah ds3 was rough in terms of pvp
