This is the first year I decided not to spend it with my extended family, I didn’t get invited anyway lol, and it’s so refreshing.

Although, my mom is having a hard time because my dad’s family is also not talking to her after 47 years of holidays with them.

I stopped doing ALL holiday functions when I was 13 and I will never go back. Everyone is constantly stressed about one or all of these factors and I simply cannot suffer like that. It’s not worth it.
