Like, it used to be 90% of people worked shitty jobs they hated. Then it was 75% now let's say it's 30%. It can be true that 30% of people are miserable and also be true that this is the best it has ever been.

We can argue some small numbers here and there, but broadly speaking, it is. There are periods we could argue it was better at the margins a little bit but we are talking tiny differences.
No it is not broadly speaking better than it ever was by literally any metric. None 0 zip except for fudged employment numbers that show people well below the poverty line as “gainfully employed” and not “working poor”
Purchasing power of the dollar is way up over your lifetime. Median real wages are up. GDP is up. Epop is very likely down (which we can argue if that's good or bad but it is true). Like, idk, I guess I entered this discussion thinking you valued truth based on your first post but I guess not.
Min wage has been adjusted as far as I know a single time in my lifetime. As far as I know the disability max earning cap has not increased in my lifetime, COLA on social security is a pittance compared to real dollar value of goods.
Min wage would have to be over $20 for your argument to work
Minimum wage is not the median wage. The median wage can go up without the minimum wage changing. You do know that the minimum wage is a statutory floor right? Not like, the bottom quartile of actual wages?
