If you don’t need branch deployments, GitHub pages is great for SSG. https://Allandeutsch.com gets deployed anywhere from 0 to a dozen times a day and I’ve never hit any issues with billing or free tier limits with GitHub.

I use Cloudflare Pages for my blog (Jekyll). Never paid a single cent, works great especially if one of my posts becomes popular on Hacker News :)
