There are plenty of Gundam shows out there with character art I really don't care for. This one seems to be risky but so far looks like the gamble will be worth it.
But yeah, of coruse there will be a lot of different opinions on such a long running and evolving franchise.

It's the same as always been when they show the lineart of a MS. They get mad on how it initially looks and then turn around once it's animated
