Like what Impmon got. Idk giving him the Leomon line goes pretty hand in hand, his a little punk that grows out of his toxic influences, he´s got feline features with the leather belts and all

It works well for that sort of thing - and of course the hard rule of 'digimon have multiple potential lines' should always be acknowledged.
Just the idea of having a primary 'character partner line' seems fun :)

I always had this fun headcanon where Gazimons split evolution between Leomon and Devidramon.
Leomon: He grows out of his bad influences and gains a strong sense of justice.
Ddramon: He embraces the darker side of being part of a bad gang, as DDramon is portrayed as a mount for bad guys
