I used to check items that I bought and actually still do, looking for "Made IN U.S.A" but after awhile was swamped with Chinese products. It's rare now that I can find an item that is actually "Made In U.S.A.".

I avoid "made in USA" like the plague. It is normally inferior quality for a higher price. Plus, I already have to deal with pollution and trash wages from factories that took over my area.

Any items that bore that label "Made in the USA" worked well and didn't have an expiration date built into it. I have a can opener and an original Crock Pot that I'm still using, both made in the U.S.A. Rival made the original crock pots in Kansas.
