They desperately need an excuse not to do it in June. Once it fails expectations after launch the whole valuation house of cards collapses because a very successful Cybercab is already clearly priced in at $250.

Funny how Tesla is blaming parts costs from China for clearly punting on “Cybercab” (an utter fantasy product IMO). What is that per car, at most? $2K? $5K? $10K? A joke of a rounding error for actual robotaxi economics. Not to mention he could easily get the Tim Cook exemption.
