I’m working on it. Some things are gradual and then go quickly. Bluesky is also improving over time. Would be nice to have bookmarks for example.

As I have LONG suspected, the plan is to get the 50Mhz of 4.9Ghz spectrum included in the v19 3GPP spec. That will lead to much broader adoption by device manufacturers. FirstNet spectrum enables priority and preemption for First Responders but at other times the spectrum can be used by anyone!

I'll let our favorite Swedish 🐈 do some math with the proposed power levels and stick to simple math on Mhz. AST can bring 45 Mhz of L band spectrum. FirstNet will have 20 + 50 Mhz of spectrum --> 115 Mhz. AT&T and Verizon can easily provide 5Mhz. 120 / 3 = 40Mhz design spec.

Not every cell can be utilized fully because of backhaul constraints. However 4.9Ghz will enable VERY SMALL and precise cells. This is great for spectral efficiency as you cover fewer devices in each small cell. FN is obviously going to use carrier aggregation with their band 14 spectrum.
