3d printers are cool! i do recommend tho to be checking on the printing process once in a while (since sometimes there's errors) and that u have ur printer in a room where it's not too hot because it tends to get really hot once its on and AC and such can affect the process (material needs to melt)
Probably best to get a baby monitor camera or such, since you ideally shouldn't be in the room while it is printing either due to fumes. And it lets you keep an eye on it from your desk!
Yesss help the artist figures/designer toys market grow again! I'm all in on this. I think about this Tumblr post a lot, talking about how it was a thriving subculture before Funko and the like flooded the market
if ive learned anything from my silhouette to make my own stickers, its very rewarding but super difficult to figure out at first. Be prepared for many hours of frustration 🤣
I super recommend anything by Bambu Lab! My roommate has a few of their machines and they do a fantastic job with minimal troubleshooting. At least if you're not using an AMS that is
Yeah they’re great! If you have a university nearby you can also check if they have a Makerspace. If they do have one, they tend to have a lot more than just 3d printers (i.e. woodworking/metalworking stuff)
FIREEE, the one I had was a resin printer called the elegoo Mars, would recommend getting a curing station with it too (I have the elegoo mercury) with the correct settings and supports the prints come out super nice (do make sure you get gloves and the right protective gear for it tho as its toxic!
