Despite trying to read c.200-400 books p.a. (obviously length-dependent) I'll at any time have a backlog at home of over 600 books. Then there are new purchases, presents etc. Ergo: some books are on my TBR for decades. But I get there in the end. Unacceptable suggestion from your erstwhile friend
