And it's going to be an uphill climb to get them to switch back once their default is to keep using the non-US sources. That income is just gone for the next 4 years at a minimum.
I saw a fight nearly break out in the produce section this week. A little senior citizen lady saw another lady put some American tangerines in her cart. β do you not realize weβre at war and youβre supporting the aggressor?!?!β It was the most uncanadian and Canadian thing simultaneously! Itβs real
I read the label on some US strawberries OUT LOUD the other day and asked βdid anyone find the ones from Mexico?β - and 4 other shoppers put theirs back! πͺπ¨π¦
The sign said Mexico / US but the Mexican ones were sold out.
#ElbowsUp #Canada we have influence when we act TOGETHER.
I bought some cookies yesterday and read the box to make sure they were from Canada. I wish I knew which specific Trader Joe's products were Canadian besides cookies! If anybody knows please let me know because that's where I do most of my shopping these days, + farmers market.
Trader Joe's often private labels products, sometimes people know who the actual manufacturers are. I do try to look, but was hoping someone might know where to point me! Thanks! Will keep my eyes out!
Hopefully this is a worldwide boycott of all American products just think if simple boycotts couldβve prevented the first rise of nazism todays America only cares about money so best hit is the pocketbook
You're GD right, I'm with you all 100% ...the faster the pain hits, the faster we rid ourselves of the magat disease. The maggots still believe THIS MONSTER will make them royalty. I've never felt this way about US, but this ASSHOLE must fail, AND FAST. I wish the dems had the spine to shut it downπ€¬
The spine to shut it down? They didn't even have the spine to stop it when it would've been easier as soon as the SCOTUS gave the presidency immunity to act against enemies if in the best interests of the country.
As an American APPALLED by whatβs happening, I Love this! I wish our people would get this galvanized against Trumpβ¦ itβs building, butπ€¦π»ββοΈ
I checked out Amazon for Canadian made oat bran. Every product shown was made in the US. Thereβs Canadian options out there, but you wonβt find them on Amazon.
I get it. As a guy who did the job when I was young, I hope folks aren't making things unnecessarily hard, for workers doing stock, and "facing" shelves and displays.
Yes! In general, it's a shame how bad we are as a society that way. Always so much waste, with so many people in need. We should be investing in systems, to help avoid the same old practices. Greed sucks.

As market share for Canadian products grows, these companies can grow and take their place in large supply chains.
Now that #Canada βs greenhouse growers are getting prime shelf space, they have the opportunity to really grow and create LOCAL π¨π¦ JOBS.

Oat bran made in Ontario at a mill that has been around for 205 years. Their daisy flour brand is amazing for breads.
