Ah yep. Matt covered what I was going to mention if it was :). Compose compiler grants us some specific affordances in this context that then allow us to have more powerful state/event loops.

I'm not familiar with Circuit, but I encountered similar challenges during my time at N26 in 2020. @mmckenna.me article (and thread) inspired me to put my thoughts into writing.

My goal was to discuss the `data class` as a Kotlin construct, independent of Compose or any specific library.

If the example looks like Circuit, it’s probably because I was "imprinted" by Matt's link. The example was meant to look like a generic version of N26's `ViewEntity` classes.
