This is what could win Dutton the election. In uncertain times, Dutton seems strong and Albanese seems weak. The irony is that Albanese thinks caving to Dutton's right wing agenda makes him look tough but instead it just makes it look like he's got no spine, no substance and no vision of his own

I sometimes forget that the majority of people take a purely vibes-based approach to political engagement. Today my mum told me that not only are the Greens responsible for Australia’s bushfires, but that she will be voting for Dutton next year because she doesn’t like Albo.

Privatised, race baited, de funded.
Most conservatives are
They will reject change, they will reject progress. They will reject logic, debate & understanding
They will live in the pockets of others & be happy with that aka Gina
If you also are thinking this may be Albo
That’s the duopoly

The ALP, like LNP is owned by interest groups and none of them give a shit about the rest of us. Independents in coalition with Greens maybe our last hope.
Aged care worker wages and conditions, killed stage 3, right to disconnect, emissions cap etc.
They need the teals too.
Independents.
With a minority government (either ALP or LNP) the Independents can make them work for a living and hopefully stay honest for once.
I’m not saying he doesn’t try to do good things.
Voting against workers rights is an issue
Christ on a bike, Albo has been a disappointment. Still waiting for the Tory fighting to start.
He comes across as a fairly unintelligent mouthpiece for hidden backers - although that might just be an impression that he gives
Labor has done some good work and should have the chance to do more - but it has been a disappointment in some significant areas
It has taken me a long time to realise those of us who are active and passionate about politics are part of a very small minority.
