I used a free Dropbox account to share photos with my family, and other files. I ran out of the free 5GB.
I had an old Raspberry Pi 3 lying around, which I had bought for 25€, 4 or 5y ago. I installed nextcloud on it. Runs smoothly at 1.3 Watt. 500MB RAM, data on a 64GB SD card. Can be increased.
Does it come with a Dropbox-like data sync service that keeps a folder synced? If yes, that could be a very interesting alternative to OneDrive, which I'm using now 🤔
