I’m glad I give both of this in our yard. The soil in the back yard is so poor that normal grasses don’t do well. So, most of the green in the lawn is actually Creeping Charley, Dandelions and other “weeds”. 😕

They do; I don’t prefer to call them weeds, I prefer to call them wild flowers and they are welcome in my garden. Weeds are just plants growing in places we don’t want them. I love old plant lore as does @radicalhoneybee.bsky.social

We get this in Minnesota quite often. I’m careful to clear it as it’s poisonous to dogs. But it does have medicinal value. Now I’ll have to keep some for magical work as well. I just have to store it carefully.

I love that it grows over there too 😍 its definitely handy to have around but absolutely the fur babies health is a priority 💜 if you need an alternative beads of amber were also used. The amount of times I've seen them in charity shops and now I'm kicking myself for not picking them up

European colonizers brought it with them for its medicinal value. It is awfully pretty, too. It’s found in most every state now.
